It's Texas so expect a nice turnout of cool pickups this Sunday in Lewisville for the 'Gasoline & Chrome' car show produced by Time Machine Car Shows at Golden Star Classic Auto Parts brought to you by the Dallas Area Classic Chevys who are celebrating 50 years of Tri Five Chevys this year. We hope to see EVERYONE come out to Golden Star for this big show and celebrate all things about our beloved classic automobiles, trucks and motorcycles. There will be awards but the best thing is getting together and admiring all the beautiful rides! See you SUNDAY!

71 years ago the 1955 Chevrolet was recognize as a special vehicle for its advanced engineering, stylish design and for its new V8 engine. It was such a special car when introduced it was given the prestigious distinction as the Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500.

Big step for club member Randy Ewers as he recently got the frame and body matched up with each other on his '57 Bel Air in his Athens shop. Congrats to Randy for getting it closer to the finish line!

On this Thursday we 'Throwback' to 2010 when we had a Poker Run. Our club has had some fantastic Poker Runs over the years and this one in April of 2010 included this stop in Waxahachie on the town square.

Another lookback on 5 decades of the Dallas Area Classic Chevys, this one from 1985 of winners from our club of awards at the Dallas Autorama, from L to R Harry Crossley, Bennie Kirtley, RD Wallace, Paul Fuller, Joe Williamson, Mike Cook and Gil Thomas. Sadly only Bennie is still with us as the others have passed away - Harry 2018, RD 2015, Paul 2007, Joe 2003, Mike 2017 and Gil 2012.
