Handsome Duke is waiting for his forever home and is available for adoption through RESCUE RIDGE in Monmouth County, NJ. More about Duke below:

This stunning boy is Duke! He is a gorgeous, 2 year old German Shepherd. He’s a little
on the lean side, currently weighing 75 pounds. Duke is very friendly and playful. He’s also very intelligent and highly trainable. Kennel life is stressful for Duke and yet he still shows us what a good natured amazing dog he is! Duke longs for a family, a person of his own that he will be loyal and devoted to.

Duke is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and will be neutered upon adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting Duke, please fill out an adoption application on our website RescueRidge.com. If your application is a potential match, a volunteer will reach out to you.

Duke is located in Monmouth County, NJ.

Please note we rarely do out-of-state adoptions.

Want to help shelter pets in your community?
Join Pillows for Paws and Animal Care Centers of NYC to make beds, blankets, treats, and toys for our dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits on Sunday, June 7th at our Staten Island Care Center! These items are simple to make and appropriate for all ages!

Come join us at Animal Care Center's Staten Island Location for a toy and bed making workshop with Pillows for Paws. The event will run from 1 - 4pm and will happen outside of the Shelter. In case of bad weather, we will plan for a rain date of Sunday, June 14th. Participants can drop by any time and stay for as long as they'd like to. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
