There’s still time to get out and VOTE!

Your voice matters in every election, not just the presidential ones!

Midterm and local elections help shape the future of our communities. From housing and public services to public safety and local taxes, the decisions made in these elections affect our everyday lives.

Every election matters. Every voice matters. Make yours heard!

Part 2 | The Search for Chief Officer Hou 🚢🌊

Some exciting progress in my search for Chief Officer Hou, who was aboard the Chinese cargo ship that passed me during my solo Pacific row!
I’m so grateful for the connections that have been made, and I’m hopeful that one day I’ll get to have a conversation with him directly.

Part 1 | The Search for Chief Officer Hou 🚢

The first in a series of updates on my journey to reconnect with Chief Officer Hou, from the Chinese-flagged cargo ship that passed me during my solo row across the Pacific Ocean.

What a special day. 💙
I got to sit down with Jennifer Hudson and share the story of my row across the Pacific, and then The Jennifer Hudson Show surprised me by bringing out an official Guinness World Records adjudicator to present me with my records.
There were so many people, so much support, and so many little moments that made this row possible. Getting to stand there and celebrate what came from all of it was incredibly special.
So grateful for this experience, and for every person who helped me get here. 🌊

I’m so grateful to be able to support a community that has made me who I am. Thank you to everyone that helped make this massive moment happen. We were able to donate $220,000 to Whale Foundation . This money will translate into hundreds of mental health sessions, health insurance assistance and scholarships for Grand Canyon River Guides and the community.
