Got a good story this Veterans Day. My wife's Great Uncle Elroy. WW11 airborne over France on D- day. His first German soldier he came upon was very young, like 15. Great Uncle Elroy couldn't shoot him. The two just let each other walk by.
WW11 was composed of the greatest generation.
THANK YOU ALL VETS. Hopefully I am worthy of your sacrifice.
