Meet the fungi stars of CaveFest! These mushrooms from Midway Mushrooms in Sewanee, TN, started their day on the cave stage, where Modern Biology connected to them to make music. After that, they moved up to the amphitheater stage to catch Gillian Welch & David Rawlings.

Gillian spotted the mellow mushrooms during the set and remarked, “Wow, are those live mushrooms? I think this is the first time we’ve played with live mushrooms on the stage.”

Only at CaveFest. 🍄
