The String Cheese Incident returns to headline CaveJam, a two-day, two-stage festival at The Caverns over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24–25, 2025. The band will play two nights, featuring three sets above ground and one special late-night set in The Caverns’ iconic subterranean venue

“Playing at The Caverns was one of the highlights of our summer tour,” says Michael Kang of The String Cheese Incident. “The amphitheater above ground was one of the coolest outdoor venues I’ve ever been to. When we descended into the cave is when it got truly magical and unique. Totally epic and unforgettable!”

Bill Nershi of the band added, “The outdoor amphitheater at The Caverns is beautiful, but when we played our show in the cave, you could really feel the energy. Truly magical.”

The CaveJam lineup also features The Infamous Stringdusters, Andy Frasco & The U.N., BERTHA: Grateful Drag, and many more. VIP packages include access to both festival days, early campground entry on Friday, May 23, guaranteed access to The String Cheese Incident’s special cave set, and admission to BERTHA’s cave show. VIP perks also include catered meals, private viewing areas, VIP access restroom trailers and showers, discounted Happy Hours, free massages, and an on-site concierge. The Caverns won’t host CaveJam this year, but we hope you’ll join us for the 5th annual CaveFest, October 9–11, over Columbus Day Weekend. CaveFest carries the spirit of CaveJam into Tennessee’s fall season, with performances above and underground, daily open jams, workshops, a sound bath, cave yoga, and cave tours. Select underground sets will be filmed for The Caverns Sessions on PBS, sharing the weekend nationwide. The campground comes alive with a “Shakedown Street” of vendors and the Camp Caverns Kids Village for younger guests.
