Hailing from Monroe, NY and now based in Syracuse, Mimicking Mars brings infectious psychedelic indie rock grooves, heartfelt lyrics, and the kind of live energy that makes every show a full-body experience. 🕺

Mike Powell and the Echosound are bringing their story-driven sound to the C's Farm Market and Beverage Center Stage at Cahill Pier on July 24, 2026.

Built from friendships, chance encounters, and a shared obsession with getting the music right, Mike Powell and the Echosound are a band defined by chemistry. Frontman and songwriter Mike Powell assembled a group of seasoned players — guitarist John Hanus, bassist Zak Masoud, drummer Adam Manion, and keys wizard Jeff Aderman — and the result is something special: a tight, dynamic band that doesn't just play the groove, they live inside the whole song.

Their debut album, 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘯, recorded at Big Blue North in Utica, is out now — and the live show is where these songs really breathe.
