Didn't make it to the Tree Lighting? No worries! The tree in Civic Plaza is freshly decorated with this year's ornament 🎄

Please stop by and help yourself to one while you are out doing some local shopping or dining 🛍️🍽️

As we invite you to enjoy the ornaments, we ask that you please only take one so others have a chance to collect. 😊
There will be one additional stocking of the tree.

It has come to our attention that there is a post circulating stating that our Tree Lighting event has been cancelled.

This is FALSE.

Santa is still arriving at 2 pm as scheduled.
All festivities will be in full swing by 3pm.
Live show kicks off at 5 pm.
Tree Lighting at 6pm.
Fireworks at 6:05pm.

The day of the event, you WILL see those with scheduled Fast Passes move to the front of the line to our committee member managing registration.

As mentioned previously, our committee puts great effort into ensuring this process runs as smoothly as possible, allowing for the maximum number of children to visit with Santa. Please provide us with your patience and understanding.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: in order to ensure Santa stays on schedule, the line will inevitably need to be cut off at a certain point.

We are excited to announce that Fast Passes will be returning again this year! 🤩

❄️It is also very important to note that in order to ensure Santa can finish meeting with children in line and stay on schedule to be on stage for the Live Show, the line will inevitably need to be cut off at 4:30 pm.

❄️We encourage those without fast passes to arrive early to get in line.

❕We ask for everyone's patience and understanding with this process. There is no perfect system and the committee members do everything in their power to make sure the maximum amount of children possible are able to visit with Santa. ❕

🎅🏼Make sure you stop back on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟮 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 when the registration link goes live! 🎄

The public decides the winners! 🏆
🎄The children who win will be invited on stage to help light the Christmas Tree at the City of Oswego Tree Lighting Event on Saturday, November 30, 2024 and they will also win a $25 gift card generously sponsored by the Oswego County Federal Credit Union!

You can visit the stores downtown, who are proudly showcasing the finalists pictures, along with these flyers for voting.

These electronic flyers can also be shared with friends and family for voting by using the QR code. All pictures can be seen electronically this way.

Parents of students in OCSD, please remember to have your child hand in their coloring contest tomorrow at school. They can also be dropped off at the mailbox in Civic Plaza or the Youth Bureau. 🎄They will be collected Monday morning at 9:00AM. We cannot wait to see all of the unique pages that we collect!🖍️🎨

Remember, they can turn them in through:
