HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It's our favorite day—and night—of the year! And we've got our biggest event yet to help you celebrate! We open at noon with Mimosas and Bloodies if you're looking to bounce back from last night's indulgences, with Matt Pour your man behind the bar. There's punk in the park from 2 till 6 and a block party right outside our door, so the entire day looks to be frighteningly festive! The decor team for tonight will be there all afternoon, transforming the basement into a house of horrors! The party starts when you arrive! Rachel takes over at 7 upstairs, mixing the magical elixirs and seasonal specials to keep your spirits elevated. Kristen will be sporting her costume downstairs at the subterranean bar. And assorted assistants will be scurrying about to make sure everyone has what they need. Kostume Kult shows up post-parade, ready to have you dancing the Monster Mash—and more!—with DJs Vito Fun, MrJones, Friar Tuck, and DJ Vintage. We're even getting an extra hour of excitement due to Daylight Savings Time! It should be a HOOOOooooOooOoooT! Join us!

Happy Thursday! And another gorgeous Autumn day! We hope you're able to get out and enjoy it! We'll have our doors open to the sidewalk this evening, if it isn't too chilly, welcoming you in. Check out the fun pix from Tuesday night's Drink 'n' Draw. We're welcoming them back on December 1, so put that in your calendar! Ivan is behind the bar from 5 till midnight, ready to pour you a refreshing Mermaid Pilsner or a hoppy Talea IPA. Peruse our extensive menu and try one of our goofy Halloween Cocktails or, if you're prefer something more serious, one of our Signature Craft Cocktails. The options are almost endless! Soak up our Halloween decor and discuss your plans, which might include attending out big soiree, hosted by Kostume Kult, who are famous for their extravagant costume events. Caitlin will be coming in at 6:30 with a group of coworkers for a Happy Hour, which should add to the welcoming vibe! Join us!

Last night's Halloween-themed Drink 'n' Draw was packed with artists eager to capture the spooky vibes on paper. We can't wait to have them back! Tonight Emily will be opening at 5, showing Graham the ropes. He works Sundays and Tuesdays over at B Side and we're excited to have him mixing up the magical elixirs in our Starlight Lounge. Kostume Kult's decor team has been hard at work downstairs, creating a creepy set for their post-parade party on Saturday. We'll even be opening up our third room! It still needs more work for it to be ready for a NON-Halloween situation, so stay tuned! Soon! Okay, let's get out and enjoy this beautiful Fall Wednesday!

Starting upstairs at 5, Gene is behind the bar, mixing up the migical elixirs. Pull up a barstool, have a chat, and request a custom concoction. They are skilled with the alcohol free cocktails, having worked at Hekate for years. If you're not a booze drinker, pop by for something super special! Back when we first signed the lease, we had Delphine and Laura come in to host a Drink 'n' Draw. That feels like ages ago! Tonight we welcome them back in our performance space, with the fancy lights! You can reserve your spot beforehand by Venmoing $20 to or pay at the door when you arrive. It will be a spooky themed series of poses, so you can expect some costumery. Creativity downstairs and neighbors up! Join us!

Happy Monday! Anyone up for a group beach day? Head out to Coney for the last of the warm weather! Then shake off the sand and join us for Monday Night Football! We've got the snacks ready for you! Ivan is behind the bar, crafting the cocktails in our Starlight Lounge, while downstairs, Joe presides over The Antihoot, with Nick serving up the sounds. Doors at 6, signups start at 7, and performances begin at 7:30. Everyone is welcome! No need to get onstage! You can be an appreciative audience member! Enjoy this beautiful day, friends!

Wow! Last night was proof that it doesn't take rock bands to get the bars bustling at B Scene! Yesterday we started super early with a group of MFA Stony Brook writers, reading—and then drinking! Later in the afternoon, our subterranean space was packed with a rainbow of Voices of The Resistance: the red, white, and blue of The Missile Dick Chicks, the ethereal white of The Resistance Revival Chorus, Reverend Billy's Church of Stop Shopping Choir in primary colors, and Sing Out Louise decked out in hot pink, silver, and black (singing their "songs in the key of FU"). It was an inspirational performance by all the participants and really helped kick off the first day of Early Voting! The energy remained long after the artists and activists wrapped up, with our Starlight Lounge buzzing until well after midnight. Today we're gonna ease into Sunday with Grace and her array of snacks, welcoming women and anyone else interested in watching some football with a bit less of the b**r pong vibes. Vanessa takes over at 6 for the evening hours, with delicious craft cocktails, more snacks, and more football until and unless someone says they'd prefer our interstellar space videos instead. We're here to please! Join us!

Stephanie Marie's Rock Show really DID rock last night! We enjoyed the quirky lyrics of Tosa Kicks, pumped our fists in the air to Hardship Lollipop, and grooved to the Shu Nakamura band. She'll be back again November 14th with another impressive lineup! Today we're starting early with our eclectic menu of entertainment. Stony Brook in the City hosts an MFA writers' series and we're welcoming them into our subterranean salon at 1pm. Then as their readings wrap up, the basement will be taken over by the Voices of The Resistance, with GAG's Sing Out Louise, The Resistance Revival Choir, and Reverend Billy's Church of Stop Shopping Choir, plus the reaffirming return of The Missile Dick Chicks, all to help you get excited about VOTING! Come throw your hands in the air, shout HALLELUJAH, and help save Democracy! WOOT! Performances start at 4! Ivan presides upstairs, noon till 7, mixing up the magical elixirs. Ask him all about last night, when he was working the downstairs bar. He seemed to truly be enjoying himself! Rachel takes over upstairs at 7, crafting the cocktails and setting the chill vibes, perfect for your Saturday night. Pop in and experience our Starlight Lounge for yourself. Lovely lower Avenue B is a bustling little neighborhoodlette. (Yes, we just made up that word.) With Hairy Lemon for sports, Limo Bar for fancy martinis, the historic Horseshoe Bar for that old school vibe, and Thayer for coffee and books, you can spend a whole evening discovering even just a handful of businesses. Might we suggest you discover ours? Tonight we open our street level Starlight Lounge at 5, while downstairs in our subterranean nightclub we're welcoming Nextcraft Showcase, with three bands and one solo act. Doors are at 6 and Gregg Gutty kicks off the evening at 7 with covers and originals to warm your heart and soul. MGP Experience rocks and rolls at 8, followed by The Rebel Factory at 9, inviting you to get up and dance to their energized mix. Wrapping up at 10 is Charlie Sub & Sounddogs paying tribute to the legendary Coventry Club. Sit upstairs and sip a craft cocktail or spend time hearing great live music and enjoy a High Life Tall Boy. Join us!

Put on some fun and come visit us this evening, with Emily behind the bar from 5 till midnight. You may recognize her from Lucky, where she's famous for her "Fall Fashion" cocktail. Ask her to whip one of those up or choose from our extensive craft cocktail menu. Downstairs this evening our old friends from CineKink will be screening a few shorts, heralding the return of their sexy film festival.
