The 2027 TMC Health 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo campaign is here, and John Sands is taking us on a ride through the in full color.

Swirling skies, BICAS' towering upcycled saguaro, the Willow Springs Ranch welcome, and Bryce Straka wheeling through it all capture a little of that 24 Hour Town feeling: a long way from your inbox, and awaiting our collective arrival.

The 2027 TMC Health 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo campaign is here, and cookieballs is taking us on a ride through the in full color.

Tucson Medical Center

Born in Nashville and raised in Tucson, John Sands - better known as Cookie - has always found ways to create, on paper and on a bike.

At eight, a serious bone infection brought him to TMC Health, where doctors saved his leg. Thereafter, neighborhood friends introduced him to bikes, and he’s been smashing KOM’s and making art ever since.

Now he’s come full circle: creating the 2027 campaign for the TMC Health 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo, an event whose title sponsor helped make his future possible.
