It's Time! Time to reveal the numbers and the donations to our charities. What a great year! We are very proud of the event and the work of our charities. These folks really help our citizens.

So here you go!

Lawrence Blue Santa got $4200 to use helping kids and families in need. They do it throughout the year now and the impact of their donations is often the thing that keeps a family going. Great job Blue Santa!

O'Connell Children's Shelter got $7000. The impact of O'Connell grows every year in everything they do. Our support is going to their prevention programs where a little intervention can often go a long way in keeping kids on the right path. To their prevention crew at O'Connell, we say job well done!

Thanks to all that made this year another success!

We are already in the works for next year. Our hope is that you all will join us again and show off your rides. Please spread the word about our little show. It was a fun day despite the heat. Our biggest show to date! Your participation, along with our great sponsors, our volunteers and our community made it special once again. Our charities benefit greatly from our support and in turn, kids and families in and around Lawrence are better for your efforts!

Thank You direct from our Hearts!

And that folks is a wrap! OH WAIT, we still have Best in Show. How could we forget. Well, we didn't. Just keeping you glued to your seats waiting for the Big One.

And a Big One it is.

Our Grand Prize Best in Show went to a 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 entered by Greg and Shelby Berry all the way from Garden City, KS. A sweet, sweet ride that shows well and we bet drives like the beast it was meant to be. Thanks for entering and we all appreciate the chance to take an up close look at a classic!

First place in the Original or Stock went to a 1936 GMC T14 entered by Jeff Sigler. This was the first time Jeff had shown his pickup. He made the right choice to do it at the Summer's End Cruise In and took home the trophy to boot. Good job Jeff!

Best original or stock is up next. This category reps the nearly stock from the factory rides. Of course some changes will always be made but for the most part these are like they came off the show room floor.

In 2nd place was a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air entered by Kenny Tibbets. Kenny is a long time entrant in the show and this day brought a trophy. What a ride Kenny!
