The deadline to pre-order Rooted in the Prairie is coming up on February 28!

Created by Becky Harpstrite and Travis Weller with funding from our SOSAA grant program, this beautifully crafted journal offers 52 place-based prompts, 29 prairie photographs, and space to write, draw or collage as you “remember what it means to let a place shape you”.

This is a limited run, so make sure to get your order in soon if you’d like a copy!

We have some very exciting news! Thanks to an incredible outpouring of community support, Outdoors Unscripted is continuing on in 2026!

This year, our goal is to keep lifting up local artists, adventurers, healers, nature-lovers, and culture-bearers through open-access events that bring people together across disciplines, identities, and landscapes. Expect more gatherings that celebrate creativity, connection, and our shared love for the prairies, woodlands and wetlands that are our home.

We have so many ideas brewing and can’t wait to share what’s next! Stay tuned, and thank you for being part of this wonderful community 💗
