Join us Tuesday, June 16th on 7th Street in downtown Lawrence for the Score Lawrence Soccer Celebration — FREE to attend, 3pm–11pm!

Here's who's taking the stage:

🎵 3:00 PM – Amplify Lawrence — incredible young musicians representing the next generation of Lawrence talent
🎤 4:00 PM – BLACK Lawrence — live music, open mic & powerful community vibes
🎸 5:00 PM – Indra — Lawrence indie rock with an ethereal, energetic sound
⚽✨ 6:00 PM – International Freestyle Soccer Performer — acrobatic tricks, breakdance footwork & a live workshop
🥁 6:45 PM – SUNU — Afrobeat, Jazz, Funk & West African dance drumming. Prepare to move.

🎵⚽ Big things coming to Lawrence!

We’re teaming up with the Lawrence Music Alliance to bring some of the best local talent to our upcoming soccer celebrations. Nick Carswell and his team are hard at work putting together an incredible lineup — and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

Kick off the celebration on June 16th, when Score Lawrence takes over 7th Street between Massachusetts and New Hampshire for a full-on busker-style block party. Join us for food trucks, face painting, balloon creations, and arts and crafts vendors — all in the heart of downtown Lawrence.
Headlining the stage is one of Lawrence's most beloved bands: SUNU. Formed right here in Lawrence in 2007, this nine-member ensemble blends afrobeat, jazz, funk, New Orleans street beats, and West African dance drumming into a sound that's impossible to stand still for. With a trio of powerhouse horns, three percussionists, and a driving rhythm section, they've shared the stage with legends like George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and both Femi and Seun Kuti. The Lawrence Busker Festival may be over, but the fun is just getting started. This summer, we're bringing Score Lawrence Soccer Celebrations to downtown on June 16, June 25, and July 11 — and in true busker spirit, it's all free.
Each event features world-class street entertainment, including Lawrence's first-ever International Soccer Freestyler, blending acrobatic skill with breakdancing in a show you have to see to believe. Add live music from acclaimed acts like , , and Hembree, and the night wraps up with a massive watch party spread across , and .

We have it on good authority from our long time sponsor that the rain will be long gone by the time we start at 5pm today and will stay away for the whole weekend. On top of that, the temps will be mild and the wind will be manageable. We'll have the best weather that money can buy! You've got no excuse now to come out to a free festival.
