Each year a committee of folks come together and provide planning and ex*****on support, in addition to providing financial support. These three units continue to provide financial support across the event, from the powwow to the educational offerings, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, Spencer Museum of Art, and The Commons. Your continued financial support and dedicated volunteer efforts at the KU Powwow & Indigenous Cultures Festival is appreciated.

Your partnership plays a vital role in uplifting this celebration and we are deeply appreciative of your commitment to making this event meaningful and accessible for all.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us for the 2026 KU Powwow & Indigenous Cultures Festival. Your presence, energy, and support helped make this gathering a powerful celebration of community.

To our head staff, dancers, singers, artists, vendors, volunteers, and attendees, thank you for sharing your time, talents, and spirit. We also want to acknowledge our sponsors and those who invest in our event. It is because of each of you that this event continues to uplift and honor our community

We are especially thankful for adapting to the move indoors and the words spoken during each special reminding us of the importance of coming together in a good way.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year! 🧡
