This year’s Founders Day event with UB New York City Alumni Network was one for the books. Our UB SOUL family showed up DEEP as we joined 100+ Bulls from across the region at 3 Sheets for a night full of reconnecting, networking, laughs, and real community. 🦬💙

At this point, Founders Day has become one of the can’t-miss UB alumni events of the year. This year alone, celebrations happened in 35+ cities around the world. 🌎

One of the best parts of the night was seeing every generation of Bulls in the room, from recent grads to alumni from the 60s & 70s, all sharing stories, advice, and memories. The energy was unmatched.

If you missed this one, don’t make that mistake twice.

Trust us… you’re going to want to be at the next one. 👀

17 years ago today, collaborated with a group of dedicated alums to bring us back together for a truly unforgettable weekend, one filled with reconnection, celebration, and a renewed sense of community.

This weekend helped lay the groundwork for what we now proudly know as UB SOUL.

It was more than just a reunion, it was the spark that reminded us of the power of staying connected long after our time on campus. The energy from that weekend still carries forward today.

If you were there in 2009, let us know in the comments, we want to hear your memories!

🙏🏾

With heavy hearts we regret to share that our Soror Christina "Janan" Lopez, the #3 from the Spring 2001 class at Mu Chapter, passed away in Brooklyn, New York yesterday, April 15, 2026 after a brave fight with colorectal cancer. Janan was lovingly known by her Sister Name meaning "Heart and Soul" and she lived up to that name in everything she did.

In her last days she wished for Sorors to remember the joyful moments they shared with her and to take with them her love for them. She was a mom, a fashion lover, a runner, a traveler, dog mom, and friend to many.
