Meet the Mayfest Musicians: Part 1!
⭐ Daniel Anastasio is a San Antonio–based pianist known for his expressive, versatile performances, innovative ensemble leadership, and engaging work as a performer‑educator.
⭐ Anna Bjerken is a soprano and Eastman School of Music undergraduate known for her passionate performances in early and contemporary repertoire with organizations including Boston Early Music Festival, Mostly Modern Festival, and Eastman Opera Theater.
⭐ Misha Bjerken is a double bassist appointed Principal Bass of the New Haven Symphony and Assistant Principal Bass of the Albany Symphony, with performances spanning major U.S. orchestras, leading festivals, and degrees from New England Conservatory.
⭐ Anthony Bracewell is a violinist and violist who pairs active performance with arts leadership as Executive Director of the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts and a principal player with leading New York ensembles.
⭐ Cellist Rainer Crosett is an award‑winning soloist and chamber musician celebrated for his expressive tone, with an international career spanning major festivals, guest principal roles, teaching, and co‑founding Berlin’s Tonhain Kollektiv.
⭐ Internationally acclaimed cellist Steven Doane is a distinguished soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator, known for award‑winning recordings and international performances and currently serving as a visiting professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
