The Big Fresno Fair proudly announces its 2026 Board officers, elected at the May 26 Board meeting: Gary Singh Chahil, President; Frank Flores, Vice President; and Chuck Riojas, Secretary/Treasurer. The Fair also welcomes newly appointed Board Members Diana Gomez and Edward Lujano, who were appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom on May 15, 2026, succeeding longtime directors Jerry Pacheco and Terry Gonsalves.

“It is an honor to continue serving as President of The Big Fresno Fair Board of Directors. As the only Sikh American to hold this position, I am deeply proud to help steward an institution that has been the heartbeat of the Central Valley for more than 140 years uniting people from all walks of life through agriculture, education, entertainment, and community.

Together, we remain focused on preserving the Fair’s rich legacy while creating new opportunities for future generations to experience and enjoy all that The Big Fresno Fair has to offer,” said Gary Singh Chahil, Board President, 21st District Agricultural Association / The Big Fresno Fair.

The Fresno Model Railroad Club presents the inaugural Toy Train Show happening Sat, 6/27 and Sun, 6/28 in the Commerce Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds! Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday. This event will feature over 175 vendors, toys and model trains of all scales, large operation layouts, door prizes, food and much more!

Admission & Parking Prices: (cash preferred):
• $10 | Adults
• $8 | Military / Veterans
• Children 12 & Under are FREE!
• $10 Parking in Chance Ave. Parking Lot

The Starting Gate is located on the 2nd floor of the Grandstand at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Hours are Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is free on Thursdays and $10 from Friday to Sunday.
