Week of training for Two Cities with ambassador, Angela! 🏃‍♀️ Angela is training for her first full marathon. Here’s a glimpse into one of her recent weeks of training:

“Marathon training is absolutely humbling me omg lol. I had to move some things around with my training plan this week to give my body a little more recovery than I planned, but I ended the week with a tough 10 mile long run.

This is definitely not going to be an easy training block, but every week I’m learning more about when to push, when to recover, and how to keep showing up even when it’s hard.”

Week of training for Two Cities with ambassador, Veronica! 🏃‍♀️ Veronica is training for the full marathon. Here’s a glimpse into her fourth week of training:

“Week 4 wrapped up with 31 total miles. This week had a little bit of everything: easy miles, speed work, strength training and recovery. While not every run was easy, I’m slowly learning how important consistency is and how far your mindset can take you.

One of my favorite parts of training this week was getting to share miles with several local run clubs.
Marathon training can feel like a solo journey sometimes but having a community to push & encourage you, makes the miles go by faster.

Grateful to be training for my first marathon as a Two Cities Marathon Ambassador and excited to see what the next week brings. 💙”
