“It has been the privilege of my life to have had 15 years growing something so outside of the confines of a “small business for good,” I can barely describe it.
I started this thing called Hope Tank, without all of the trappings of expectations, MONEY, or stability. I was pregnant, newly laid off, and somehow totally sure that it would all work out.
We went from Art District on Santa Fe to South Broadway, a quick stop at Denver Evans School, and to our current home in City Park West Denver.
So much has happened, and throughout every step, the HopeSlinger community grew.
You all have enriched my life, kept me hopeful, made huge impact on organizations in our community, you’ve changed how you spend your money with intention, and you showed UP! Thank you.
And if you ever worked for me, and with me, you made it all possible. The most epic staff anyone could have ever asked for.”
Now it’s time to hand over the reigns to folks who want to take up the mantle with the community space, or we’ll just let it be whatever it’s gonna be next!
The lease is up March 2027, so we’ve got 5 months to figure it out. We’ll have a party in February to close out this chapter.
