Festival Announcement Update

Thank you for the extraordinary response to the 2026 Women in Dance International Film Festival & Screening Series. We received more than 240 submissions representing 46 countries and 23 U.S. states!

To give every submission the thoughtful consideration it deserves, official selections will now be announced on September 30, 2026.

We know our applicants are eager to hear from us, and we sincerely appreciate your patience. No action is required at this time—all applicants will be contacted when selections are announced.

Thank you for sharing your stories, artistry, and perspectives with us. We are honored to experience your work.

KRD | Remembering KRD in China in 2008 - https://mailchi.mp/62687e61c01f/krd-krd-in-china-in-2008 Eighteen years ago today we landed in Beijing! Kim Robards Dance remembers 08-08-08 kicking off our tour to China coinciding with the Olympics! KRD was one of only two dance companies from the United States and Kim was the only American female choreographer to be presented at The Beijing Dance Festival coinciding with the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, performing at The Coca Cola Olympic Stage and the Nines Theater. Kim taught Modern Dance Master Classes at the Post-SARS Studio under the watchful eye of a Red Guard soldier. KRD performed Ms. Robards' Masterworks: Waves Against Sand, Cascades, Scales, and Kym Gym Megalomania. Support our 39th Season through a tax-deductible contribution at www.kimrobardsdance.org

We invite filmmakers, choreographers, and movement artists from around the world to submit innovative films that celebrate dance, movement, culture, identity, and storytelling.
