Art, music, coffee, and community are in high demand this week at The Supermarket 🛒

NOTE: We will be FULLY closed Tuesday, September 15 until 5pm to set up for a special 3-D scan with The Knot 🥂

We start our week with a fresh pour from Bearly Awake on September 16–17, followed by Winnie Cafecito on September 20 ☕

The Bakery Atlanta will be hosting the closing reception for HEARD 2 September 14 at 6pm. Be sure to catch the last viewing of this exhibition celebrating the talented artists working in service and hospitality 🖼️

Planning your big day? Join us for our Wedding Open House September 15 at 5pm. Couples, and wedding planners are invited to explore our venue and visualize what a celebration looks like here! Meet our staff and get to the know the people who make dreams come true 💒

Stop in on September 17 for a night of high energy, laughs, and surprises. .tech brings us Bestie Bingo at 5pm and Hot Pepper Comedy & Improv spices things up at 7pm 🌶️

kirijaz, Brendan Baul, & Leo Harper bring us Strictly Human on September 18, a variety art show featuring painters, poets, and sculptors. If you’re looking for for an evening of close-up magic and laughs, head over to Secret Aisle with Kyle Littleton | Magician at 8pm 🎭 ✨

Sunday, September 20 is stocked full of creative fun with The Bakery Atlanta! Bring the the family to Kids ‘N Crafts at 2pm, then stay for Face the Music with Mia Merlin at 5pm for live portrait drawing 🧑‍🎨

End the evening on September 20 with live music at 7:30pm hosted by Songbird Foundation alongside Juliet Estrea and The Fakes 🎸 don’t miss a listening session and dance party with NO STOMACH, led by Austin Peete - listening session at 3pm, dance party at 7pm! Start with live performances, playback, food, and mingling, then hit the dance floor with DJs all night. 💃🏽🔥

We’re wrapping up this summer with style 🕶️ 

These warm nights call for comedy, improv, film screenings, and markets galore! This month kicks off with a new exhibition celebrating Black Pride Month 🌈 by In Our Names Network “Building New Worlds” Exhibition is on view from September 4 to September 13, with an opening reception and artist talk on September 6.

The Bakery Atlanta presents two new gallery exhibits this month starting off with “Heard 2: A Group Exhibition for Hospitality Workers” co-hosted with Mel on view from September 10 to September 14th with an opening reception on September 10 🫒 

Then loop back around and enjoy “Homegrown: A Group Exhibition” on view from September 24th to October 11 with an opening reception on September 23. This group exhibition seeks to showcase artists who identify with historically underrepresented art forms in the Craft and Folk Realms 🧵 

The Bakery will also have a healthy variety of art classes and workshops to choose from this month, including recurring events like Open Mic, Collage Night, Lavender Lens, Kids Crafts, and Figure Drawing ✍🏽 

Get ready for an unforgettable night out with Hot Pepper Comedy & Improv ‘s Supermarket debut on September 17th, with another SecretAisle.com on September 18th, and some puppet action with the Nocturnal Creatures Troupe from Cookie Tongue on September 27th 🎭

We also have an absolutely cinematic lineup for film lovers, featuring the 3rd installment of our underground shorts showcase Cinevision from on September 21st as well as a gallery and market from the fantastic Deadly Prey Gallery on September 27th 📽️
