Whether you’re about to begin a workshop, returning from an early photowalk, heading to a talk or simply taking a break, stop by for a free coffee on the first floor:

On Saturday, from 10:00–11:00, barista Joana Matos will also be preparing two coffee drinks for the festival.

Nicola’s story began in Lisbon in 1779, at the historic Café Nicola, which became a meeting place for writers, politicians and some of the city’s best-known tertúlias.

Wondering if a portfolio review is worth it? 👀

A fresh pair of eyes can help you see your work differently, gain confidence in presenting it, and get a clearer sense of where it could go next. Could it become a photobook or an exhibition? Is it ready to submit? Where could you send it? What’s missing? A portfolio review is a chance to bring the questions that are specific to your work and get practical, focused feedback.

This year’s reviewers include Mário Cruz (Narrativa), Noora Mänty (Encontros da Imagem), Polly Rusyn, Rui Prata (Imago), Kevin Wolf and Shane Taylor (Framelines).

Most sessions are already sold out, but a few spots are still available. Sign up now and get ready for dedicated feedback! All photography genres welcome.

The Fujifilm Portugal team will be offering free sensor cleaning , a general operational check and, where appropriate, a firmware update.

Photowalks have once again been one of the most popular activities at Lisbon Street Photo Fest! Almost every walk is now sold out.

Our newsletter subscribers were the first to hear about the latest additions to the programme, with several filling up before we had the chance to introduce them here.

There is now just one new photowalk with places still available: join on the streets of Lisbon and try out a Ricoh GR. Cameras will be available for participants to borrow during the walk.

Nova Talk + Photowalk 📷 com Rui Miguel Cunha & RICOH GR European Account

Junta-te ao fotógrafo Rui Miguel Cunha para uma tarde dedicada à fotografia de rua e ao sistema GR.

Começamos às 14h00 com uma breve apresentação de Rui, aberta a todos, onde irá partilhar o seu trabalho, a sua abordagem à fotografia de rua e a sua experiência a fotografar com a RICOH GR.

Depois da apresentação, um grupo limitado de participantes sai com Rui para uma photowalk de uma hora pelas ruas de Lisboa, com câmaras GR disponíveis para experimentar durante o percurso.

Uma oportunidade para conhecer o trabalho e a abordagem de Rui e, logo a seguir, levá-los para a rua — com uma GR nas mãos.

Originally trained as an architect, Lorenzo brings that background into his street photography, with a particular eye for colour, shapes, and the way different elements come together in a photograph. His images find connections between people, light, gestures, and small details, turning everyday moments into carefully composed scenes.

Join us on Sunday to hear Lorenzo talk about his photographic journey over the past ten years and how his way of working has evolved along the way.

Photography workshops in Lisbon 📸

Less than one month to go, but there’s still time to join one of this year’s workshops!

Workshops offer the chance to spend real time learning directly from renowned and experienced photographers, working alongside them in small groups and getting a closer look at how they think and work.

From street photography, editing and flash to film and darkroom practice, photobook making, project submissions and more, each workshop is an opportunity to learn something new and get inspired to focus on your own work.
