VOID by ORPHIC

We are proud to present our new community event: VOID.
VOID explores the intersection of nightlife and grief, of community and emptiness.

3/12, RADION Amsterdam , 20:00-00:00
Limited capacity

Tickets will be €5, including your first drink. We had to choose between an RSVP system and a ticketing system that would do justice to the spirit of this event. We decided to go for a low-cost ticket that includes a drink. We’re not making any profit from ticket sales, but this felt like the most logical way to ensure that everyone who claims a spot actually shows up.

When we started in 2019, we simply wanted to give artists we knew a spot. That quickly developed into recognising the incredible talent we have in the Netherlands and the value of having a strong local DJ scene.

We decided to only book local artists & talents, but we also felt a responsibility to help them grow. What gave us energy, was not only having a transactional relationship, but build connections that would last and strengthen.

So booking local is a clear choice. nor is it. It’s our way of showing that there is incredible local talent (across the whole Netherlands, not just Amsterdam) that deserves full dancefloors and the space to develop into even greater artists.
Even though times have changed, this part of our concept has never changed. We strongly believe in what we are creating together with these artists.

And it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know some of them better. Not only by booking them, but also through conversations about their development, their ambitions and the industry around them.

In exactly 1 week we gather Club RAUM Time to dance again and create our own place. This time not 2 rooms, but one techno room like back in the old days.

So join us for a night filled community & local artist.

WOW. Thank you for last Sunday. ❤️

It was everything we hoped it would be. We laughed, danced, connected, and even shed a tear while paying our respects to Brian. ✝️

The party was so good we could have easily gone for another two days. The beautiful sound of the soundsystem, brought by Melle, Pascal and Lucas, carried us through the day.

We’re happy we could bring a little bit of that old raving spirit back. And we hope it can inspire more of it.

Especially when it comes to being mindful of our environment. There is no real raving without taking care of the place we rave in.

To everyone who came: thank you for making this adventure unforgettable. We can facilitate the space, but the magic only happens when we create it together.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers.

Thanks to all the Artist:

Thank you Nova for the delicious food you served for free. It kept people going and added something genuinely wholesome to the day.

And thank you to De Fik an organisation that supported us when none of us were popular, giving us opportunities, trust and space to grow. We won’t forget that.

See you on the dancefloor. 🖤

*Some people asked if they could donate. But this was from us. A gift to all of you who we love so much. If you want to support us keep showing up at our events and buy tickets early. Thats the best support we can get.

Last event at TILLATEC , instead of an opening set, we brought something different to the table: a blindfolded listening ceremony guided by YoungWoman

The experience felt almost transcendent, creating a moment where people could let go, listen differently, and connect through sound without knowing what to expect.

Creating experiences that take people somewhere they normally wouldn’t go, and allowing them to experience something together, is exactly what we want to keep exploring.
