Last event at TILLATEC , instead of an opening set, we brought something different to the table: a blindfolded listening ceremony guided by YoungWoman

The experience felt almost transcendent, creating a moment where people could let go, listen differently, and connect through sound without knowing what to expect.

Creating experiences that take people somewhere they normally wouldn’t go, and allowing them to experience something together, is exactly what we want to keep exploring.

This edition, we brought something different to TILLATEC. Two areas with different sounds, multiple art performances and a small installation. But most importantly, we brought ORPHIC and the people that come with it.

Doing a Pride takeover event felt natural for us, because even without the q***r label put on our event, we realise that it’s about the work you do to make it safer for the people who are most vulnerable, cause in the end this benefits everybody. Our events are built on values.

Over the last seven years, we’ve built an event that welcomes exploration and learning. A place where generations and people from different backgrounds come together and learn from each other.

And we’ll keep reminding everyone that the music is always on fire powered exclusively by local artists.

Hopefully thats an inspiration to others, that they don’t always have to look over the border and that the term headliner will disappear from our vocabulary.

As a team, we work incredibly hard to make this possible. Seeing everything come together the way it did was amazing.

We are so proud of everyone who joins us, every single time. You are ORPHIC. Whether yesterday was your first event or you’ve been with us for almost every edition over the past seven years, you’re part of our community. You’re part of us.❤️

We can’t wait to welcome you to our Pride Takeover at TILLATEC (Doctor Jan van Breemenstraat 1) today from 21:00 till 10:00 AM.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know before joining us.

/Awareness Team/
Awareness Team will be present throughout the event. If you experience anything that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, or if you need support for any reason, please reach out.

/Tickets/
Please make sure you arrive before the entry time stated on your ticket.

Tickets are available on our bio or via TILLATEC website.

/Food/
Nourishing food and smoothies will be available all night, provided by Papa Sidou.
Food will be available from 21:00 until sold out.

Last Sunday morning, we were invited by .amsterdam to host the main room during their closing weekend❣️

thank you for the trust. We’ve had the chance to host there a few times, from club nights to our Q***r Christmas diner - and it’s always been very special. Sad to see this place go, but very grateful to have been part of its story.

Some people light up a room the moment they walk in, spreading sparks of happiness wherever they go.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our beloved community member and friend, Sartianna, has passed away.

We knew her as a vibrant spirit on our dancefloor and at our community events. Our Q***r Christmas Dinner will not be the same without her.

She was someone who gave so much, always ready to help, support, and care for the people around her.
May her passing remind all of us to keep that same spirit alive, not only during our events, but also in our everyday lives.

We want to wish everyone, but especially her friends and family, a great deal of strength during this difficult time.

*1st Picture is Sartianna with Joey one of our residents, at our Q***r Christmas Dinner. Besides a good friend she was his biggest fan and supporter❤️❤️❤️

Last week we had our ANM at Radion, opening with a penary session by Andres Tegnander curated by Victoria Mazzone. Followed by a workshop on sound by Sama, and a workshop on breaking sameness by Olaf Boswijk.  It was lovely talking, unwinding and most importantly learning in new forms with you all again.

Throughout our last club night at Raum on May 15th, traces of something new quietly appeared across the club.

Folded texts, hidden passages and a few carefully placed books acted as the first introduction to the upcoming ORPHIC Art Programme: La Part Maudite / The Accursed Share.

Keep an eye out . . . this is only the beginning.

And if one of the books found its way home with you: please don’t miss the opportunity to read it. Once finished, pass it along to someone who might connect with it, or return it to us so it can continue circulating through the artists and community surrounding the programme.
