Worksop Half Marathon

24/10/2026

EVENT CANCELLATION NOTICE

Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control we have no choice but to postpone this year’s race. Due to predicted winds in excess of 50mph, Clumber Park have had to make the decision to close the park to ensure the safety of the public.

As a result of this, plans are already in place to move the race to a provisional date of 24th January 2027. All entrants from this year’s race, whether already deferred or not, will automatically be entered into this new date. If you wish to defer from this date please get in touch via [email protected]. Transfer to other entrants and reopening of entries will be available in due course.

The Race Village will also be closed tomorrow. We are unable to distribute t-shirts or medals as these are to be reserved for the January event.

This event is run entirely by volunteers and we assure you we are all working very hard right now to respond to any queries as soon as we can. Please bear with us.

We know how disappointing this must be for everyone but we’re looking forward to seeing you in January.

As you will know our partners and sponsors are a vital part of our amazing event🏹

‘Again Focus’ on Young people in Bassetlaw will be providing a bag drop during the half marathon!👟

All we are asking is for a £2 CASH donation (no card facility) on the day to support this brilliant local charity💸

Just a reminder that focus on young people in Bassetlaw aims to enable young people in Bassetlaw realise their aspirations and support their ambitions so that they can reach their full potential. To do this the Charity can provide funding and information to individuals and young people’s organisations, including some projects within schools. The Funding Programme can assist young people aged 8 - 25 with projects, ideas and experiences that will help develop them personally, increasing skills that help prepare them for life and future employment.

You can find more information on their website www.foypib.org.uk ⭐️

Any support is well appreciated💕

Based in Worksop, our charity supports young people in Bassetlaw aged between 8-25 yrs. old. We raise funds, by holding several events throughout the year..
