Scalby Fair Scalby Fair Week - 12th June to 21stJune 2026. Fair Day is on Saturday 20th June.

The Fair started in 1977 with a street party to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee. It has developed into a week long series of events building up to a large street fair on the Saturday. It always takes place in June with "Fair Day" falling on the Saturday nearest to mid summer day. We also promote the Annual Walk which takes place on Easter Monday and is a great fun event with all day entertainment

Scalby Fair 2026 kicks off next Friday 12th June with our ever popular Ceilidh with the wonderful Ceilidh Band The Whippets at Newby and Scalby Community Hall on Scalby Road YO13 0RA. Hi all, Due to a lack of teams for this years Tug of War competition as part of Scalby Fair Week, we have now cancelled the event. However, the Classic and Vintage Car Show is still going ahead with many interesting and rare cares and motorbikes taking part. There is no entry fee and you just need to turn up, although it would be nice to get a quick note from you if you're hoping to attend.

Look who we have appearing at Scalby Fair on 20th June, on the main stage around 11.55am. Only Britain's Got Talent semi finalist Nancy Tilley. Scalby Fair Wine Tasting tickets now available. Join us on Wednesday 17 June for a chance to taste some fabulous wines. Tickets from Nags Head. Be quick as this event usually sells out.

Scalby Fair which starts 12th June. Fair Day is on Saturday 20th June and we need lots volunteers to make it all happen. Volunteer slots are normally 2 hours and you can work on everything from setting up stalls to entertainments, catering and traffic management. Joining the team and serving the community is a joy in itself, but your contribution is also recognised with a complimentary Burger voucher, Tombola voucher and invitation to the Volunteers BBQ later in the summer.
