Scalby Fair Week - 12th June to 20th June 2027. Fair Day is on Saturday 19th June.

The Fair started in 1977 with a street party to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee. It has developed into a week long series of events building up to a large street fair on the Saturday. It always takes place in June with "Fair Day" falling on the Saturday nearest to mid summer day. We also promote the Annual Walk which takes place on Easter Monday and is a great fun event with all day entertainment

Hello all stall holders, looking to sell you Xmas wares.
The Nags Head Pub in Scalby village is holding an Xmas fair in their b**r garden.
There will be a 9x15m marquee, with lights and some heating. The marquee will be in place from the 2nd of December until the 2nd January.
It is intended to hold the fair on the weekend of 5th and 6th of December.

Tables or equivalent spaces are £10 from 12:00 till 5:00, or £15 from 12:00 till 8:00. If you would like to attend please contact Tom Gillon at [email protected]. Please give details about what you intend to sell.

All Scalby fair profits from the fair will be going to St Catherines Hospice.

Scalby Fair wholeheartedly supports the efforts of all residents of Newby and Scalby in their efforts to save Newby and Scalby Community Hall. We believe it can be run as a community hall and that the proposed sale of the hall is unnecessary and will have a negative impact on our community.

Scalby Fair gives over £5,000 to local charities. Following a successful Fair and Walk the Fair has given over£5,000 to Future Works, Newby and Scalby Library, and Scarborough Mates in addition to other smaller donations.

Scalby fair is about to start! Come and see our amazing dancers, singers, and beautifully dressed stalls. Don't forget to see our demonstrations of football, martial arts, willow weaving, pottery and sewing.(You can even make things to take home).
