Every young person who walks through our doors deserves to feel like they belong, and at PQA, that’s exactly what we work hard to create. 💛

🎬✨ Last weekend in Film & TV, our young filmmakers moved onto their SECOND movies for our PQA Scarborough Cinema Screening at Cineworld! 🍿🌟

Our students have been screen testing their scripts on location, exploring how their stories will work on camera while also reminding themselves how a professional film set runs to make our upcoming shoot days as smooth and effective as possible. 🎥👏

From directing and camera work to acting and teamwork, everyone has been working incredibly hard — and we can’t wait to see these new films come to life on the big screen! ✨🎬

🌟 Last Weekend in Poppets 🌟

Last weekend, our Poppets explored the theme of Working Together through imagination, creativity and teamwork! 💫

Our Poppets are continuing to develop their understanding of why teamwork is such an important part of performing, whilst having LOTS of fun along the way! 💛

We are now super excited to start our showcase rehearsals after the half-term break, where we’ll be bringing together all of our skills, stepping stones, stories and dances into our very own Poppets Showcase!! 🌈⭐

✨ WOW — what an amazing morning at PQA Scarborough! ✨

We are feeling so incredibly proud of all of our students after such a brilliant and inspiring session together last weekend. Seeing so many young performers step outside of their comfort zones, support one another, and celebrate each other’s achievements created such a positive and uplifting atmosphere across the academy. 💛

At PQA Scarborough, we are passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every student feels empowered to express themselves, take creative risks, and grow in confidence — and this project was a perfect reflection of that. 🌟

Not only have our students developed fantastic performance skills throughout this project, but they’ve also strengthened important life skills including confidence, resilience, communication, and teamwork. We couldn’t be prouder of the courage and commitment shown by every single student involved. 👏

We can’t wait to take everything we’ve learned from this project into our next exciting Comedy & Drama project at PQA Scarborough… 👀✨More to come soon!
