So this time next week, the beer festival elves will be working hard setting up the festival and arranging to get the beers settled and in tip top condition for you to enjoy 🍻

So here's a couple more beers to tempt you!!

PS. There are still a few tickets on-line, so grab them quick, when they're gone, they're gone! https://eastdorset.camra.org.uk/

We are pleased to showcase

Abbeydale Brewery Black Mass (6.66%) - Black IPA

One of the world's longest standing Black IPAs. Brewed using 6 different malts including chocolate malts, black malts and roasted barley. Generously hopped with Cascade and Green Bullet. Flavours reminiscent of bitter chocolate, fruitcake and raisins, with beautiful aromas of dark chocolate, coffee and burnt toast. A beast of a brew is also Gluten Free and Vegan! 4 time Gold Medallist at the CAMRA Champion Beer of Yorkshire awards (2017, 2015, 2011 and 2009) and Overall Champion at the SIBA National Bottle & Can Awards 2022.

Turning Point Brew Co. Disco Zing - 5.1%

Dominated by passionfruit and lifted by apricot and peach, Disco Zing brings the fruit-saucer energy in full force. Grapefruit and tangerine terpenes dial up the citrus snap, and a dry-hop of Chinook adds structure and zing. Bright, tropical, and ever so slightly alien. Always Disco.

We're counting down the days!!

See you all soon

Cheers

So anyone ready to 'Spice' it up at the beer festival? πŸ˜‰

Next up for the tempters is

Stone Daisy Brewery Berwick Spice - Ginger pale ale at 3.8%

This is a seasonal special pale ale which pours a pale gold with a ripe straw hue, inviting with its bright and refreshing appearance.

Gentle citrus aromas are complemented by a soft malt backbone that provides balance and body. The addition of stem ginger introduces a subtle warmth and aromatic spice, adding a lively twist to the delicate flavour profile.

Smooth and satisfying from first sip to finish, this brew offers a harmonious blend of citrus zest and ginger heatβ€”perfectly suited for crisp autumn days or festive gatherings.

Fingers crossed for some crisp Autumn Days to sample this one at the end of the month!

Cheers all

So next up on the beer drop lists to tempt you .. we have ...

Burning Sky - Inclination (4.8%) - an American brown ale which is a rich, smooth, and contemplative cask-conditioned ale. It features a deep mahogany colour and is made with Maris Otter, Crystal, and chocolate malts, hopped with Columbus, Cascade, and Centennial, and dry-hopped with more Centennial for a hoppy and malty experience with caramel and chocolate notes.

Burning Sky began as a brewers dream. The dream of a long term brewer with a love of both punchy hop forward pales and of the beautiful Belgian beer tradition. A brewers brewery, blessed with a small talented team of like minded people.

Located in the foothills of the beautiful and inspirational South Downs is the stunning small village of Firle. Here steam wafts from refurbished farm buildings where we make our beer. We are a true farmhouse brewery.

Producing their first beer in the Autumn of 2013, the vision was to strive in a quest to make world class beers across all styles and formats – embracing brewing traditions in harmony with modern methods and tastes. Today that vision remains the same.

There may be a tiny secret that has been let out of the bag, and the beer elves have definitely surpassed themselves this time! So time to share as we are super excited!

So the next beer announcement is from The Beacon Hotel

Sarah Hughes Brewery - a traditional Black Country Victorian tower brewery and public house was bought at auction in 1921 by Sarah Hughes.

Brewing home-brewed ales until 1957 when the brewery closed. After 30 years lapse the grandson John Hughes lovingly restored the brewery in 1987, keeping the traditional art of brewing alive.

The beer that will be available at Poole Beer Festival this year is none other than the Dark Ruby (6%) -

Dark Ruby Mild combines a balance of intense colour and flavour, making it an award winning festival favourite.

We think this is the most requested beer for the festival of all time, so enjoy folks!
