To celebrate the closing of Electric Film Festival 2026 film submissions we are proud to announce Bournemouth International Film Festival (BIFF) is partnering with Electric Film Festival, offering up to five films a direct pathway into the BIFF 2026 Official Selection, extending the life of standout work and championing emerging voices on a wider stage.
As a not-for-profit festival dedicated to showcasing new talent and underrepresented filmmakers, BIFF is built on the belief that great stories deserve continued visibility, industry access, and real audience connection.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting filmmakers beyond a single screening, creating meaningful opportunities for their work to grow, travel, and be discovered.

Ahead of this years film submission deadline, we are offering the chance to win admittance for one at RAINDANCE FILM PARTNERS SATURDAY FILM SCHOOL on the 19th of September 2026.

Four powerful sessions on screenwriting, film directing, film producing and a closing section on Breaking Into The Film Industry. Learn filmmaking basics in just one day!
Founded more than 25 years ago, Raindance Film Partners strive to promote and foster independent film worldwide.
They offer a wide range of evening and weekend classes in cities around the world, with classes in screenwriting, directing, producing and cinematography, as well as special effects, editing and short films. Past students of Raindance courses include Christopher Nolan, Edgar Wright, Guy Ritchie and David Yates.

Did you know how many iconic film posters are created by illustrators? Now it’s your turn to step into that creative space.

Are you a developing visual artist ready to showcase you work while supporing the next generation of filmmakers? This is your chance to promote your creativity and be a part of the growing community behind Electric Film Festival.

The Brief:

Design a postcard that captures the aesthetic of Electric Film Festival and Parlour, while incorperating your own distinctive creative twist.

Theme: Support Upcoming Visual Artists⚡️

What You Get:

- We will Cover the cost of printing in partnership with Parlour.
- Your postcards will be displayed in a dedicated space directly as guests walk through the doors of Parlour and the Electric Film Festival - giving yiur work real visibility.
- 1 free ticket to an event for the first prize

Submission Requirements:

- Submit your postcard design as a PDF or JPEG, featuring both sides.
The back of the postcard should include your signature, the account where you promtoe your work, and tags for Parlour and Electric Film Festival.
Entry Fee:

Minimum submission fee of ÂŁ2.
All fees directly support our goal of securing a London Venue for the Electric Film Festival 2026, helping create more opportunities for developing filmmakers and artists alike.
