THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO TURNED UP FOR OUR SINGER AND COMEDIAN YESTERDAY!.
I understand some couldn't make it, and thanks for letting me know.
The purpose of the event was not only to bring the community together, but give something back as a thank you, so all the customers over the years, all the schools, foodbanks, and organisations I have raised money for, all the small businesses we have supported and all volunteers, paid and unpaid.
Not one of the above turned up.
It cost me an average of £35 per person the those who did attend.
This has made me think, and unfortunately it will have a butterfly effect on my community work.
Many thanks to rick, who did a splendid job entertaining such a small crowd, and to bestwood lodge for giving us the room for free and putting on extra staff for the event. and to the 10 people that did turn up.

WHAT A MISERABLE DAY, BUT I HAVE SOMETHING TO BRIGHTEN IT UP. 👨‍🎤👨‍🎤👨‍🎤
I an putting on a FREE event today at Bestwood Lodge with the fantastic Rick Sheehan Singer and funny man!
This will be in the Ballroom and we have seating for 100 people plus added standing room, there is a Bar, and food is available as well, The doors open at 3pm, with Rick on stage from 4 till 7.
This is an adults only act (think Jimmy Carr meets Chubby Brown,) so please do not attend if easil offended.
Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, Parking is free at the hotel main car park ( just enter details at reception)

Jolly Gardener Events is putting a free event on this Sunday at Bestwood Lodge from 3pm till 8pm. Its my way of saying thank you to the community and all stall holders, volunteers, and community workers. Everyone is invited, so bring your friends as well.
A bit of mid afternoon comedy and singing with Rick Sheehan. The Ballroom will be set up with 10 large round tables (they have even promised table cloths, how posh) so we have seating for 100, and standing for 50 more. Rick is very close to the Knuckle, so think Jimmy car meets Chubby brown, so not for children or those easily offended.
This is a free event, so please let me know if you wish to attend and for how many, so we can have your seats reserved.

You lovely ladies are asking to book for Christmas wreath making, So I am now taking bookings.
Dates are as follows:

WREATH MAKING.
NOVEMBER
SAT / SUN 21ST, 22ND
28TH / 29TH
DECEMBER
5TH / 6TH
12TH 13TH
WEDNESDAY
2ND / 9TH / 16TH.
ONLY 11 DATES, 20 PEOPLE PER SESSION
COST £27.95 PER PERSON.
Includes all materials for a 3 hour session, *refreshments not included this year, as Bestwood lodge want to offer there own range.
Timings will be 12 till 3pm on all dates.

After a meeting with Bestwood Lodge we have agreed on said dates for our Autumn and Christmas events.
from start to finish, and booking for Wreath Making is available now due to high demand.
SEPT 13TH 3pm till 7.30pm RICK SHEHEEN Singer and comedian. ( a free event from me as a thank you for my first 5 years, and for all you that have supported me) please comment if you want a table space, and for how many people)
SAT 31ST OR POSIBBLEY 1ST NOVEMBER: HALLOWEEN EVENT;
Live music, fun day, market, Halloween trail, etc, cost to be confirmed.

HAPPY SUNDAY PEOPLE!
What's everyone up to today? I must admit I will be "pottering" around till midday, then a cheeky Sunday pint or two, then a few hours on the PS5, till continuing to watch "The Gentleman" seris two on Netflix,
A perfect Sunday....
Then something similar for the next month as I'm having some time off! Lol 😆 🤣 😂
So what's all your plans today, before putting the nose to the grindstone tomorrow?
