A little sneak peek before the full line‑up drops!

We’re thrilled to share an early highlight for this year’s Bulwell Arts Festival — Henry Normal returns to Bulwell with friends!

We’re so excited to welcome Henry back for the 2026 Festival.

In partnership with Ben Macpherson and Joy Rice. Nottingham’s prodigal wit, Henry Normal, will be joining us for an evening of poems, stories and much more. He’ll be joined by two Favourites of the Nottingham poetry scene — Sue Allen and Manjit Sahota.

Every penny of profit from this event will go to Lifecic in Bulwell, an inclusive learning environment for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. Supporting local people and local businesses is at the heart of everything we do.

A huge thank you to our friends at the Bulwell United Reformed Church for hosting this special event.

What an amazing first session with the Crafty Natter group.

A huge thank you to the amazing Anna and Carla at the The Bulwell Academy Community Hub being so wonderful and always welcoming us in and partnering with us. And an extra big shout‑out to our festival volunteer Rachael Pearson-Harrold, for helping drive this – we honestly couldn’t do it without her.

To all the ladies who made a brilliant start on their creations with us, Thankyou!

The ladies started creating some fabulous pom‑pom bunting for the Global Day event. Proper community coming together. Check out the pics – Thank you, Anna, for helping document the morning.

We’ll be joining them again next Tuesday, 9:30–11:30. If you fancy getting involved, please come along. It’s such a friendly, welcoming session and a lovely way to be part of the festival build‑up.
