🏆 Men’s Team Classic | Match Result ⛳

Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club 3 – 2 Barnard Castle Golf Club

This one went right down to the wire! 🌬️

With tough, windy conditions making for a challenging day, the teams were all square at 2–2 heading into the deciding fifth match.

It was the home side who held their nerve, securing a 3&2 win to take the overall result 3–2.

A fantastic finish to a closely fought contest. Well played to both teams, and congratulations to Merchants of Edinburgh on the win! 👏

🏌️‍♀️ Leigh Golf Club 1.5 – 3.5 Glenbervie Golf Club ⛳

A lovely day on the course with sunshine, superb playing conditions and a match played in the best of spirits! ☀️

Although Glenbervie came away with the points, both teams enjoyed a great day of golf.

A special mention to Leigh Golf Club for their excellent hospitality - always appreciated and a big part of what makes these matches so enjoyable.

Well played, everyone! 👏

🏌️‍♂️ Men’s Team Classic 🏌️‍♂️

Holsworthy GC 5 – 0 Lanhydrock GC

There was a little extra motivation for Holsworthy in this one, as Lanhydrock had knocked out their other team in Round 1! 👀

Despite the convincing final score, this was a much closer contest than the result suggests, with three of the five matches still in sight of the 18th hole. Plenty of competitive golf and a strong challenge from Lanhydrock throughout.

A great result for Holsworthy, who progressed to the next round with a clean sweep! 👏⛳️
