There was nothing to separate these two sides in a thrilling Academia Golf Club Classic encounter between Liberton Golf Club and Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club ⛳

With the match finishing level at 2.5–2.5, it all came down to a playoff. After three extra holes, Merchants of Edinburgh finally edged ahead to claim victory and progress to the next round.
