It's Volunteers' Week 👷🏻‍♀️👷‍♂️🤗

Our new Run Director, Richard, has it easy peasy this week as our awesome volunteers have already filled the roster for our compulsory roles, so he can sit back and relax and get ready to be a fab new host on Sunday 👷‍♂️🤩

We're so fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers supporting our event each week. They're a friendly bunch who just love supporting their community and get that warm fuzzy feeling every week knowing they are helping juniors have fun, be active and healthy 👷🏻‍♀️👷‍♂️🤗

We had some lovely feedback from yesterday's event to say that our new volunteers had a lovely time and we really appreciate them helping us out 🥰

A lovely sunny morning for our 274th event. Well done to the 24 juniors and 19 volunteers who created a great event.

Zack, Nia, Oliver G and Esme joined us for the first time, with Zack and Nia doing their first ever parkruns! Well done to you all, we hope to see you again soon!

Well done to Austin, Oscar and Evelyn who all achieved new PBs.

As usual a huge thanks to all our fabulous volunteer, we really couldn’t do this without you all 👏👏👏.

Who's joining us for a junior parkrun in the morning? 🙋🙋🏽‍♀️

Dukeries junior parkrun is free and fun for 4 to 14 year olds, and their families, to take part in a 2km event to be active and healthy 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🤸🚶🏼‍♀️🚶

1️⃣ Register your junior for free via our website for their parkrun barcode : https://www.parkrun.org.uk/dukeries-juniors/ 🎫
2️⃣ Join us just before 9am on the Turner Lane Field, next to the Dukeries Leisure Centre ⛳
3️⃣ Enjoy a walk, hop, skip or run around our course, cheered on by friendly volunteers 👷🏼‍♀️👷
4️⃣ Cross the finish line and scan your parkrun barcode and position token 📱
5️⃣ Get your result and know you've done something awesome! 👍
