Coming up this weekend we have our fantastic breakfast and books event. The last one was a roaring success with great feedback on a fabulous and filling breakfast. Come and join us in the Church for a non religious gathering to peruse the books on offer and fill up those bellies. Everybody welcome. Cash and card accepted.

Only one sleep left until our monthly soup and sandwich event. As always we welcome everybody to the upstairs of All Saints Church to have a natter over a brew, meet new friends and eat some lovely food. 12pm until 2pm tomorrow.

Our usual bill of activities is in full swing and just a reminder about the Soup and Sandwich event this Friday. It has come around fast this month. Hope you have all had a great summer. Looking forward to getting a bit of time free to get back on top of this page once the boy goes to school. It's been manic.

Also date for your diary 6th September Breakfast and Books will be happening. More info on that soon.

Please get in touch if you think you could give some of your time to help us deliver on our promises in our constitution. To benefit the residents of Netherthong and advance the efforts to provide a programme of education and activities and the facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

The more hands on deck, the more we can deliver.

Again over the past 12 months we have had a consistent schedule of fitness activities in our community space, we have monthly social gatherings where we break bread and have a natter. Crafty activities for wellbeing, a quiz night, breakfast and books, and of course our wonderful Christmas fayre to name a few, and we want to do more. But we are busy people with busy lives and a reduced rosta of helpers and if we want to continue to advance our programme and further help provide the facilities to benefit our community as much as possible, we could really do with some extra hands and brains involved.

So if you have talents and skills you think may benefit the community, and a willingness to work as part of a team to help this charitable organisation thrive then please get in touch via DM or comment on this post.

Good afternoon, due to a little change up in trustees availability and dedicated time being used to work on very important business behind the scenes the social media page has been a little quiet this month.

Our usual activities are still ongoing as normal. And activity on this page will resume in due course.

In the meantime here's your reminder that this Friday is the last Friday of the month and our wonderful soup and sandwich event is on with our usual smiley faces serving you some fabulous homemade soup and sandwiches stuffed with a lovely array of fillings of your choice. As always everyone is welcome, find us upstairs at All Saints Church, Netherthong.
