Being able to manage the daily stresses of life isn't always easy. I find that practicing mindfulness, keeping active and taking life day by day, minute by minute are fantastic tools for helping me with this.

However, at night time it's a different matter. As my conscious brain begins to wind down, it's like someone flicks a switch inside my head and all the stresses I've manged to keep at bay during the day begin their noisy musical.

My unconscious mind doesn't care about my mindfulness practice. It wants to know what's going on, why haven't you chased up this, or that, and while we're here should we think about something we did 10 years ago that we regret but that is completely irrelevant now.

For the last couple of weeks I've started using Tapping, EFT at these times and it works every time. My mind switches off after just a couple of mental rounds of tapping and moves onto something else. I'd never thought to use it in this way until recently.

This is a quick fix and whilst it may not fix or heal the day time problems it definitely helps me to sleep which then contributes to a better me the next day.

Do you believe we make our own luck? I love this quote, it really got me thinking.

The Law of Attraction and manifestation are such powerful forces. We can prepare all we want for the things we desire in our lives, and we can manifest those opportunities into reality.

There are those people we describe as lucky are not usually the kinds of people that sit around doing nothing, they are probably taking action of some sort to bring the good luck around.

Luck isn't always good though. Bad luck is attracted into our lives in the same way - through opportunity and preparation. Maybe without us even realising we're doing it, we manifest back luck into our lives.

"Dieting" is when you eat food that makes you sad.

This is a light hearted thing that you probably want to laugh at. But there's so much truth in it. Dieting isn't always good for us, either on an emotional or physical level.

Sure, you'll lose weight at first and maybe for a while. Maybe for years. But how is it affecting you by constantly restricting yourself and being 'sensible' about what you eat?

Did you know that roughly 90% of people who lose weight gain it all back again. There's a reason for that.

Would you like to explore that reason? What if you could change that sentence and say, 'I eat what I want when I want it, and I'm who I'm meant to be"?
