We’re excited we have multi award-winning 💃 Ri Ri's Dance Academy | Dance & Theatre 🎭 here with The Magic Stick, an interactive show for 6 -12 years and their grown-ups. Follow Diya’s magical journey and discover how small acts of kindness can light up the world.

Blending Indian dance, music, storytelling, and stage magic, The Magic Stick is a heart-warming family show celebrating compassion, selflessness, and generosity.

A tale of exchange and wonder, it asks: how kind have you been today?

This magical show is for audiences aged 6 to 12 and their families, and includes elements from the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, making it particularly relevant for young audiences.

Helena Broadbent from Edge Lane Books - in partnership with Usborne Books will be at The Vale with a pop-up bookshop where you'll find a great selection of fiction, non-fiction and activity books ranging from young toddlers to teens. She'll be on hand to help with recommendations, and books can be paid for by cash or card and be taken away on the day.

This October Half Term at The Vale 👏 Join us this week for a series of fun, hands-on creative workshops led by experienced artists and facilitators. Each workshop 90 mins and includes refreshments. All between 1pm and 2.30pm, but that's not it...

There's also a fantastic Pop Up Bookshop on Thursday 29th from 11am - 1pm! Perfect for bookworms or anyone looking to get some Christmas presents ticked off their list early, then stay for the Dance Workshop straight after (depending on available places for the dance workshop).

The next Sunday Sessions is Sunday 8th November, we're delighted to announce our next special guest is: IORA

IORA is a UK-based indie-folk artist, songwriter and musician creating emotionally charged music through expressive vocals, vivid storytelling and atmospheric electronic production. Her sound bridges intimate folk songwriting with cinematic textures, combining organic instrumentation and electronic experimentation to create music that feels both deeply personal and expansive.

1 week to go! We're so excited to have legendary drum master Steve White of The Style Council, Paul Weller, Trio Valore and more coming to The Vale next weekend with his new trio promoting his latest album ‘Soul Drums’ (Acid Jazz Records).

Steve White came to fame as drummer with The Style Council, appearing on the majority of the band’s recordings throughout the ’80s, touring the world, and appearing at ‘Live Aid’ in 1985. Steve White has also appeared live with Oasis and The Who.

The Rose of Nevada, a fishing boat lost with all hands 30 years ago, mysteriously reappears in the old harbour of a forgotten Cornish village. For those who remember the tragedy, it’s surely a sign. The boat must go out to sea again – and maybe then the luck of the devastated village will turn.
