Here are a couple of PoP uPs recent weekly musical adventures. The Bluetones at the brilliant Taylor’s Shure 5 Studios - Rehearsal Rooms & Live Venue. We are very lucky to have this incredible venue in Oldham. Check them out for more great intimate gigs like this.
We also really enjoyed Adult DVD and Yellow Arch Studios, Sheffield.

Big thanks to everyone that came out to the sold out Stax show, what a great atmosphere you created in our wonderful civic hall, you have to say that Dave Sweetmore smashed it, as ever.
What is there to say about Stax of Soul UK, they just seem to get better and better and it was a high bar to start with. Let's hope we can do it all again next year.

We have sold out again, thank you. It's going to be a truly brilliant night.

Remember to get there early, doors at 7pm, to get one of the 200 downstairs seats. There are 90seats on the balcony, you will be able to get a seat there if you arrive later.

We can not reserve seats, please be respectful to each other and do not bring glass into the venue!

Last time(and every time) we had Stax of Soul UK it sold out, the legendary nine-piece professional band continues to dazzle audiences with their dynamic brass section and powerhouse performances.
A reputation that needs no introduction. This original 9 piece party band born and bred in Manchester back in 1983 are 'The Real Deal'.
Their genuine, finger-popping, foot tapping, high energy, full-on party performance has now been in demand for over three decades across the UK and beyond. If you came to this show last time, you know that you are in for a good night. If this is your first time, bring your dancing shoes.

We also have Soul, Motown and Northern Soul dance floor fillers all night till midnight by the brilliant and much in demand Dave Sweetmore

There will be a dance floor and, we encorage you to dance :-)

“ The UK's finest Indie Musicians assemble to celebrate the best of Madchester and Britpop. Come join us as we fundraise “

Five of the UK's most accomplished Indie Rock n Roll musicians will be hitting the stage to play two sets of blinding Indie covers from the late 80s to early 2000's including Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Radiohead, The Charlatans, New Order, Happy Mondays, Paul Weller, The Smiths, The Mock Turtles, The Zutons, The Seahorses, The La's, The Cure, James, The Stone Roses, The Verve, The Bluetones, Suede, Supergrass, Primal Scream, Shed Seven and may other bands.

PoP uP are helping out this great cause on March 15th in our brilliant Civic Hall. There will be Dj's spinning Indie tunes all night till 12, including Tim from PoP uP.
The band will be doing 2 sets of Indie bangers and there will be pub priced drinks as ever.
