A great moment for us in Rotterdam, where James joined Matthias for our very first setup with our European partner.

It’s exciting to see things getting underway and to be taking this next step in extending our reach across Europe. A big thanks to Matthias and the team for making it happen - this is just the beginning!

Here’s something you might not know about our Danny… as well as being an integral member of the InstaStand team, he’s also a very talented poet. ✍️

Writing as The Poet Badger (Badger Poems), Danny takes inspiration from all different aspects of life – including, on this occasion, his stand fitter days.

Nineteen Miles takes us behind the scenes of an install day – the ladders, the cable ties, the problem-solving and the miles covered without seemingly going anywhere. Anyone who’s worked on an install might recognise a thing or two! 😅

Danny has recently been named “Creative on the Rise” by Poets Digest – fantastic recognition for a “phenomenal poet”. 👏

We’ve been keeping a little (big!) secret… 👀💍

Remember Alex taking remote working rather literally in the Welsh countryside with his two four-legged assistants? 🐶🐶

Well, it turns out there was something rather more exciting happening on that trip…

Our Head of Projects proposed to his girlfriend Ellie – and happily, she said YES! 🥂❤️

A huge congratulations from all of us at InstaStand – we’re just thrilled to bits!

James handed this one back to Alex after his site visit at fabriclondon a couple of weeks ago, so it was good to see it all come together last week for Fintech Fringe.

We supplied the lightboxes through our Organiser Lightbox Package, with Danny and Sammy doing a great job of the installation and removal. 🙌

There’s always a lot of planning that goes on behind the scenes with these projects, so it’s nice to see the finished setup in place, particularly in a venue as iconic as Fabric.

A big thanks to Skyline Whitespace Exhibition Stands and Events for the introduction – really pleased with how this one came together. 👌

Always good to get out on a site visit – and this time I was stepping in for Alex at fabriclondon ahead of an event there on 10th September.

After more than 30 years in events, I still enjoy walking into a venue and working out how everything is going to come together in practice – access, logistics, installation and all those little details that can make such a difference on the day.

Site visit done, notes handed over and Alex will be taking the lead from here.

Taking remote working rather literally, Alex… 👀

Our Head of Projects swapped the laptop for a quick lunchtime walk and a rather spectacular view – accompanied, of course, by his two extremely helpful assistants. 🐶🐶

Alex is at the heart of so much of what we do – from planning and problem-solving to working directly with our clients and making sure everything comes together as it should.

Not a bad spot to clear the head before getting back to it! Are we jealous? Nooooo… 😂

📍 We're loving seeing more events head north!

London will always be a key destination for exhibitions and conferences, but it's exciting to see more clients choosing to host events in vibrant cities like Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester too.

There are some fantastic venues and event spaces to discover, and Alex recently joined one of our long-standing clients on a tour of potential venues, looking at everything from delegate flow and stand layouts to logistics and installation. The more planning we can do upfront, the smoother event day becomes.

We're always excited to explore new venues and support our clients wherever their events take us.
