Meet Kathy Ziegler, a 58-year-old songwriter in Haarlem, the Netherlands, who joined Talent Is Timeless in March 2026 and won our 2026 Annual Competition with “Wake Up, Wake Up”.
The song surfaced when she was trying to “reconnect with my strong, fearless, creative, and beautiful child-self,” she said. Life got louder, and music became “a small little box”. Then she put music first again.

Overnight success takes years.
Pam Sheyne co-wrote “Genie in a Bottle”, five weeks at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It looked instant. It came after years of performing, session work and building relationships.
At our LA Accelerator, nine songwriters heard from Pam, and from Nitanee Paris, who came to songwriting after an earlier career. The message running through it: life experience is raw material, and starting later is not starting behind.

The Abbey Road dream for Talent Is Timeless member Eric Ganales happened 2 days ago!
Eric is a songwriter from MA, USA, and travelled in with his wife specifically to spend a day with his Talent Is Timeless '50 Over 50' producer, Charlie Morland, at the famous Abbey Road Studios to capture his vocals and some guitar.
Walking through those doors can feel like a fever dream. Surrounded by pictures of your favourite artists you sign in through the grand entrance, only to find out that the studio is an even bigger complex than it seems. With hallways and doors leading off to vocal booths, mixing rooms, orchestral chambers and the all important canteen.
This week many of our members are joining us at this hallowed studio as our 50 Over 50 artists are processing through the recordings of their albums. More photo's to come!

These are exactly the kinds of burning questions we explored at Talent Is Timeless London Sync Camp 2026!

Held in London's White City, our first London Sync Camp brought songwriters face-to-face with industry professionals working across music supervision, licensing, publishing and production.

But this wasn't your typical music industry conference.

Over several days, participants had the opportunity to:

Receive honest, personalised feedback on their own music from industry experts.
Explore how sync opportunities differ across film, television, advertising and gaming.
Experience writing music to a real-world-style creative brief.
Learn how to prepare, present and pitch their music more effectively.
Ask the questions they've always wanted answered, directly to the people working in the industry.

At Talent Is Timeless, we believe that opportunities to learn, grow and develop your music shouldn't have an age limit.

Whether you're just beginning to explore sync licensing or have been trying to break into the industry for years, understanding how it works is an important first step.
