Foreign Affairs are raising £10,000 to secure the future of their Theatre Translator Mentorship – the only programme of its kind.

Every donation and share counts.

Without support, the only dedicated programme of its kind for emerging theatre translators in the UK disappears- and with it, one of the few spaces doing this work.

Happy World Fringe Day!!

Today, we at Voila! stand with over 300 of our fellow Fringe Festivals to celebrate everyone who helps make Fringe theatre happen, wherever it happens.

From the artists performing onstage to the technicians working behind it; from the audiences who fill the venues to the staff who maintain them; from the funders to the volunteers and the unsung heroes of every kind- thank you for the community you create.

London, 14-18 July 2026: Out of the Wings returns for its annual festival of Ibero-American playwriting. Celebrating our 10th festival, we present readings of plays from five different countries, all in English translation, and in the UK for the first time.

In tumultuous times, the plays of bring provocation and challenge, distraction and delight.

The play readings are one element of ’s six-day programme of theatre in translation. This unmissable flagship event in the OOTW calendar begins with the OOTW Forum at King’s College London, then continues with practical workshops, and opportunities to meet the OOTW team. Join us as we showcase the diversity of playwriting in Iberia and Latin America across a week of creativity, and cross-border collaboration.
