Formed at the heart of the global pandemic the sister project to Ruadh was designed darker and more in line with traditional black metal. Still with a dark Pagan twist it’s created to invoke feelings of desperation and longing for simplicity. From the Red Glen productions studio “I” was birthed into existence and “II” is in the making currently.
ꪖꪮꪀꪖ᥅ꪖᥴꫝ has drafted in a crew of seasoned musicians to share the stage live to bring the vision into this space.

Unpredictable and unorthodox, Still blur the lines between contemporary avant-garde black metal, chaotic hardcore, and experimental noise. With a fiercely independent ethos, Still have been quietly carving their own path since 2017. Having released their sophomore album, A Theft,  in Nov 2024 on Floodlit Recordings (Joe Clayton of No Studio/Pijn) the trio have been rewriting expectations of how dark, heavy music should sound.

Still will be joining ⚔️MASTIFF⚔️ hundredyearoldman IRON ALTAR Ruadh ACCEPTANCE and ꪖꪮꪀꪖ᥅ꪖᥴꫝ live at Boom Leeds 💥 on the 24th October!

Old Co**se Road will be laying waste to Little Buildings for our Night Before show on the 23rd October!

Old Co**se Road are steeped in the history of Britain; they breathe the myths and legends that form the fabric of this island kingdom. Every note of their unique black metal is infused with the magic of spells thought long forgotten and the ghosts of ancient days haunt the spaces between those notes. Since their bewitching first album, ‘Tis Witching Hour…As Spectres We Haunt This Kingdom, released on Godreah Records in 2012, Old Co**se Road have spoken to those with a yearning for the past and a flame in their hearts that burns brighter when mists hang low over frost rimed fields. Metal Hammer hailed the band as “consummate storytellers, with timeless tales of the fecund darkness that lurks beneath the surface of England’s green and pleasant land” . With each album Old Co**se Road come forth with more truths, secrets and incantations from the moonlit meadows.

Show Announcement! 🔥

Hammerdown and Obsidian Gathering presents Oakenthrone live in Leeds at Lending Room Leeds on the 13th December!

Oakenthrone was formed in 2022 by founder and composer Simon Nagington. Originally as a solo project; his unique take on the black metal genre was forged in the 2 track tape releases of EMBERS OF REVERIE (2024) and ASTRAL BINDING & THE OATHSWORN (2025). Both of these cassettes sold out immediately and pushed Oakenthrone to the top of the Bandcamp UK Black Metal page where it has retained a foothold since. 

2025 saw Oakenthrone develop into a full live band. Recruiting Nathan Caven (ex-Sathamel), Andrew Hunt (ex-Pist) and Ant Hurlock (ex-Mairu); the debut live performance came in October at Call Of The Crow festival to huge praise. A festival exclusive split cassette with fellow festival performers and dungeon synth stalwarts, Gate Master, was put out. These tracks, along with the previous cassettes were later packaged together for DARKWOODS Records in a CD format - PATHS ONCE TRODDEN (2024-2025).

In March 2026, Oakenthrone joined Scottish black metal pioneers, Saor, on the UK leg of their Amidst the Ruins tour. Becoming a pivotal moment for the band and cemented them as a commanding live force in the UK scene.

2026 will see the release of Oakenthrone’s debut album AD SILVAM through VENDETTA Records. A culmination of all that has come before, this is a true forging of a new path.
