Happy New Decade🍾🎉

Back in 2012 we hosted our first ever show at the legendary Carpe Diem, Leeds, on a cold stormy Thursday night in June. Since then we have had some insane shows at venues across the UK and created an inner city festival which was awesome.

The pic below is from the first show we hosted at Carpe, which, within Double Denim Live, is quite iconic. The band in the photo is British Daylight. Local indie/punk band that were incredible but sadly no longer playing.

Thank you to all that have been to any of our shows, played or worked with us since day one and let's see what 2020 holds for us......

Weirdly, the drum kit that British Daylights drummer is using in the photo, is the one we use for all our shows at Verve Bar now as he got a new kit.

** Very Important Update **

It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that Kazoopa Festival 2018 will NOT be going ahead as planned this year. We have been talking about this decision for the past couple of months and due to personal reasons, we feel that this is the correct decision.

The past couple of years have been incredible and we cant thank everyone who has helped out in any way, bought a ticket or played, enough.

Hopefully we will be back in 2019, bigger and better.

Anyone who has brought tickets, please contact the original ticket vendor for a refund

The Kazoopa Fest 2018 steam engine has just been started and is sat purring getting warmed up.

You really need to jump on board and come and see some of the best new bands from around the UK come and play Leeds across multiple venues on Saturday 24th November
