It’s good to see Ian Main and Andrew Macintyre back at the Wee Folk Club, always popular, these are two well-respected musicians from the Edinburgh folk scene. Ian Main (vocals and guitar) is a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Edinburgh’s southside. He has performed in many venues throughout the British Isles, both as a solo artist and with a variety of collaborators.
Andrew Macintyre (vocals and small pipes) is a hugely talented piper, he has an extensive repertoire of tunes for all occasions and ceremonies. Andrew has performed at many ceilidhs, concerts, Burns suppers and St Andrew’s Night and Hogmanay celebrations over the years.
Come along & enjoy an evening of both traditional and rather more contemporary Scottish and Celtic music, with interesting stories of the songs being sung…..
