🌍 A 15-month sailing adventure around the world.
⛵ World ARC brings sailors together to explore oceans, remote islands and cultures while sharing the journey of a lifetime with a global fleet. It departs Saint Lucia in January and returns there in April in the following year. The route takes the fleet east to west through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific Ocean, visiting the Galapagos Islands, French Polynesia, Niue, Tonga, Fiji and Vanuatu before making landfall at the halfway stage in Australia. From Australia, the route crosses the Indian Ocean, via Bali, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Mauritius and La Reunion before arriving in South Africa for Christmas and New Year. The Rally then crosses its third ocean, the South Atlantic, before visiting Brazil and Grenada and finally concluding in Saint Lucia. World ARC 2026–27 – Mauritius Memories!

What a fantastic time World ARC 2026–27 has had in beautiful Mauritius! From exploring the historic Domaine des Aubineaux to enjoying delicious tea and rum tastings, there have been plenty of opportunities to discover the island’s rich heritage, flavours and culture.

The fun continued with a lively prize-giving evening, where a wonderful Sega group brought the party to life with vibrant local music and dancing. Our sailors even had the chance to learn some Sega moves of their own!

A huge thank you to the MTPA .tourism and the Mauritius Port Authority for their incredible hospitality, local knowledge, kindness and assistance throughout the fleet’s stay. Your warm welcome helped make Mauritius such a special stop on the World ARC adventure.

The fleet has now arrived in Réunion, ready for the next chapter of their circumnavigation. We look forward to seeing what adventures await!

With turquoise waters, pristine beaches and the World ARC fleet scattered peacefully at anchor, Cocos Keeling is (as always) proving itself as a very special stop on the Rally.

A huge thank you to Will Lee of Sea Wisdom for capturing these incredible aerial views of the fleet.

We’ll let the pictures do the talking…

What does the World ARC fleet think of Christmas Island?

From the moment they arrived, our World ARC crews have been making the most of this unique island - and it’s safe to say, Christmas Island has made quite an impression!

We asked our crews what they thought of Christmas Island, and the message was clear: wild, wonderful and well worth the visit!

Another memorable chapter for the World ARC fleet - and plenty of stories to take with them as they continue their circumnavigation.

A BIG Thanks to Christmas Island Visitor Centre & Christmas Island Tourism for sharing your amazing island and hosting our fleet!

Wild encounters on Christmas Island.

Our World ARC fleet has been getting out and discovering the incredible natural side of Christmas Island after sailing in from Lombok.

Crews have encountered some of the island’s famous coconut crabs, explored lush rainforest and coastal scenery, and witnessed the spectacular power of the sea at the island’s amazing blowholes.

It’s been a fantastic opportunity to experience the unique wildlife and wild landscapes that make Christmas Island such a memorable stop on the World ARC route.

LOMBOK HAS BEEN FUN!

The World ARC fleet has been making the most of their time in Lombok, with plenty of opportunities to get off the boats, explore the island and enjoy some time together.

From wandering through the colourful local market and exploring Mataram’s impressive Islamic Centre Mosque, to lunches by the beach, there’s been plenty to discover. The fleet has also got stuck into some hands-on activities, including coral planting and restoration, as well as enjoying Indonesian cooking lessons.

And, of course, there has been plenty of time for the important business of World ARC life – getting together, sharing stories and enjoying some fantastic food. A prizegiving dinner, beach BBQ and a few relaxed evenings have given everyone a chance to celebrate the miles sailed so far and the adventures still ahead.

Now it’s time to get back to the boats and prepare for the next leg. Tomorrow, the fleet departs Lombok and sets sail for Christmas Island!

A huge thank you to Hotel Medana Bay Marina, Lombok, for hosting our fleet and entertaining them so warmly during their stay. We’ve loved seeing the fleet enjoy everything the hotel and the local area have to offer.
