COSPLAY POST !

We cant wait to see what fantastic Cosplays there will be at Beachside cc this year!

Please see in the comments the Cosplan poster so you can use and share your cosplans !

In regards to the Cosplay Masquerade please see below for some information , we have been getting a few questions so hopefully this will help 🙂

The Masquerade will feature an adult section for ages 13 and older, and a child section for those 12 and below. Times will be as follows :-

Children - 2.30pm
Adults - 3pm
This will be the same for both days in Studio A

Participation Guidelines

To participate, please sign up at the Luxx Cosplay table by 2:15 PM on the day of the event. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Make sure to arrive at the designated area on time, ideally about 10 minutes early. you will be informed of where this when you sign up.

Keep all performances to a maximum of 2 minutes -

Please note on performances to avoid including any elements that could harm, injure, or offend others and ensure that all performances are family-friendly.

Gymnastics are not permitted due to space constraints.

Music can be submitted via USB on the day and having a phone as a backup is recommended.

Please refrain from using profanity or explicit language in any music or performances.

Prizes will be awarded to those who judges believe best represent each category.

REMEMBER ALSO COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT!
Always ask before taking photos or if you would like to interact with other fellow cosplayers

As always we fully encourage everyone to cosplay their favourite characters, be it from the wardrobe, handmade, bought or in any other art form , but most importantly to have fun !

We hold this masquerade for you all to join in without the pressure of a competition, so please don't feel you need to choreograph a full routine (unless you wish ) we would still love to see you Rock it! with a simple awesome pose.

The CHARMAN Brothers will be with us for Saturday ONLY !

Both Ben and Joe are artists and social media creators with over a decade of experience, bringing their backgrounds in illustration, design, and content creation to every collectible they create. They created Shed Door Cards which is a trading card company creating custom, bespoke, and parody trading cards for the past four years. Alongside their card ranges, they produce custom-designed Pokémon-inspired art slabs featuring exclusive extended artwork and original illustrations.

You may also recognise Joe as "That skills Guy" who can be found making those incredible trick shots from vine days to present ... so ... "what you gonna do about it?! get those tickets today !!

Sonia Leong is a comic book/Manga artist. Creator of National Book Token's 'Manga Heroes' design, she authored many popular drawing guides including Draw Manga: Complete Skills (Search Press), Beginning Manga (Franklin Watts) and The Complete Beginner's Guide to Drawing Manga (Octopus Books). Her award-winning debut was Manga Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet (Self Made Hero). She's illustrated for Doctor Who (BBC Books), Assassin's Creed (Titan), Domo-kun (TokyoPop) and Bravest Warriors (VIZ), and other industries like children’s books, fashion, advertising, film and television, appearing on CBBC's Britain's Best Young Artist as a judge. She is the Director of Sweatdrop Studios, a UK-based independent comic publisher and is currently working on the Chronicles Of Ciel, a series of illustrated fantasy light novels.

Sonia Will also be holding live Drawing sessions is STUDIO A teaching the basics of drawing Manga characters using simple shapes and ratios with lots of tips on how to get the classic eyes and hair typical of the style!

So make sure to bring a pad and pencil !!

They will be there doing learn to play sessions as well as having various Boardgames to play and plenty of Tabletop goodies !

Grim Dice is a local Gaming Store, with weekly meet ups and game exploration from Warhammer , Pokémon , Lorcana, Magic and so much more !

Over the years, Filiz has appeared in a wide range of major film and television productions, including Wicked and Wicked: For Good, where she experienced the magic and spectacle of life in the Emerald City in the hugely anticipated big-screen adaptation of the beloved musical.

Her other credits include a special connection to Pokémon and the anime world. In Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, she had the rare opportunity to portray Pikachu during the unforgettable Ryme City parade scene, Others include Star Wars: The Acolyte, The Witcher - where she portrayed a commanding High Nilfgaardian General, as well as The House of the Dragon, Wonka, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and many many more.

Filiz will be with us SUNDAY ONLY !

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na BATMAN"

We are very excited to be bringing you the '89 BATMOBILE to Beachside cc !

The Batmobile will only be available on the SATURDAY ! so make sure you pop down for those Bat-Tastic photos !

The '89 Batmobile was driven by Michael Keaton in the 1989 and 1992 movies
It featured a fiberglass body with matte black paint, a cockpit-style canopy, and large rear fins. The nose featured a turbine intake inspired by the British Harrier jump jet. The car also included functional gadgets such as machine guns, bomb doors, and a rear afterburner that could operate for up to 15 seconds.
