On Saturday 6 December 2025 members of Solway CAMRA visited Orm’s Brewhouse at Ormside Hall - home of our Beer of the Festival 2025 - Dokkr.

The stout was in great form as were two new beers - a liquorice porter and a medieval gruit.

Solway Camra would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that supported our Beer Festival between 23th and 25th October 2025.

As a team effort by all our visitors we raised an incredible £506.09 for Eden Valley Hospice providing specialist care for adults in north Cumbria who have life limiting conditions and Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice providing day to day care, support and activities to children and young people from across the county living with a life limiting illness.

Hope to see you all again next year.

CIDER OF THE FESTIVAL 2025

Barker’s - Dry Cider

This wonderful dry cider is made from apples in John Barker’s traditional Victorian orchards in Worcestershire. The fruit is picked up and pressed on the farm and then left to mature in the old farmhouse cellar.
