🐴 One Day Event Recap🐴

What a day! A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our One Day Event yesterday. Whether you were competing, supporting, helping or simply cheering everyone on. We hope you all had a brilliant day! 🏆🤩

This was the first One Day Event we’ve hosted as a new committee, and we’ve certainly learnt lots along the way! There are plenty of things we’ll take away and consider for next time, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we continue to learn and develop our events ❤️

A special thank you to our amazing stewards, Tom, Ruby, Vic, Jenny and Josh, for giving up their time and helping everything run as smoothly as possible throughout the day. We couldn’t do it without you! 👏

And, of course, a huge thank you to Dunc🤞🏼who is our Mr Reliable! From mowing and setting up before the show to helping us put everything away afterwards, he is always there to lend a hand and we are so grateful for everything he does for the club 🙌

Thank you again to everyone who supported our first One Day Event as a committee. We’ve taken lots from the day and hope that the next one will be even bigger and better, and just as much fun! 🐎💚

Just a few reminders below that apply to the One Day Event tomorrow.

On arrival, all competitors need to check in at the caravan. Please present your Equine passport (with evidence of flu vaccination within the last year but not within 7 days). Back numbers will be issued to those who haven’t got them.

There is no Burger van tomorrow but we will have a Tuck Shop selling snacks and drinks (CASH ONLY).

Weather dependant, Lydia Margaret Moss photography will be with us to capture your moments & Neve will be asking you to feature in her Tik Toks as usual for the club account.

Should be a great day, looking forward to seeing you. 🤞for the weather!

⭐️⭐️ STARS Announcement⭐️⭐️

We’re incredibly proud to announce the competitors who have qualified for the STARS Champion of Champions Final at Aintree, taking place from 19th to 22nd November 2026!

The standard this season has been exceptional and every rider and handler should be very proud of their achievement 👏

Please contact us by email asap at [email protected] to confirm whether you will be accepting your qualification. This will enable any places to be handed down promptly should you be unable to attend.

Once your place has been confirmed, entry and payment details will be sent to you.

Wild cards will be decided over the next week 🤞

🐴✨ JUMP REVEAL!!!✨🐴

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps… but we can now reveal our brand new Bolton & District Riding Club jump🩵🤍

And before anyone panics… DON’T WORRY! 😂 It won’t be making an appearance in Classes 1 & 2 at Saturday’s One Day Event!🫣

But for those in the other classes… you’ll be seeing this beauty on course soon! 👀🐎💨

🏇 ONE DAY EVENT UPDATE! 🏇

We’re busy finalising the courses ready for Saturday’s One Day Event and we can’t wait! 🤩

For Classes 3 & 4, we’ll be using both top fields for the cross country, giving you plenty of space to get your horses into a good gallop! 🏇💨

We’re also really looking forward to introducing you to some new cross country fences 👀🌳 we think you’re going to love them!

⏰ Times will be confirmed later this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday! ❤️
