👩‍🍳🏆 Congratulations to our first-ever Bolton Young Chef of the Year winners!

A huge well done to Tabitha Glenholme and Thomas Parkinson, who were crowned champions after months of developing their culinary skills through our brand-new Young Chef programme sponsored by StepPlaces. 🎉

Over five months, 12 talented young people worked alongside professional chefs, learning new techniques, gaining experience in a commercial kitchen and preparing an incredible three-course lunch for guests.

The winners received their awards at the festival following a special presentation by James Martin. 🌟

We're incredibly proud of every young chef who took part and can't wait to see where their culinary journeys take them next.

👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 The Bolton Food and Drink festival has lots of activities for children, teens and parents - better still, lots of them are under cover! 🌦️

🌈 So escape the rain and head to the Festival Garden on Le Mans Crescent, the children's area in Elizabeth Park (near Bolton Market) or the Teen Zone next door.

Plus, there's crazy golf on Back Spring Gardens! ⛳
