CALLING ALL PUPPETEERS! The Winnipeg Puppet Collective is looking for 2-7 minute live acts for their upcoming PUPPET SLAM!

This call is for ALL ADULT PERFORMERS of ALL SKILL LEVELS AND ABILITIES!
If you want to be part of this wild pony show, make sure to submit your piece to [email protected] by October 26th, 2026! Please include a brief description of your piece (1 sentence) and a script with any technical requirements (lighting cues, recorded audio, or video projection) - we request any and all cues to be kept to a minimum! Feel free to ask as many questions as required!

We can't wait to see all your amazing work, and to perform alongside you!

One last reminder that we've got another First Friday event tonight! Located at on the 4th floor of 100 Arthur Street, we'll be building shadow puppets, so come on down to see what we're all about! Starting at 6PM, we can't wait to see you there!

We're back at it again for First Fridays! Come and hang out with us this Friday at 6pm on the 4th floor of the Artspace Building (100 Arthur Street) to build some shadow puppets, or just to see what we're up to! We can't wait to see you there! 🙌🙌

Thank you to everyone who came out for our shadow puppet workshop, hosted by ! It was a real pleasure to have so many aspiring puppeteers in one room, and learning new tricks from experienced shadow puppetry artists!

It's official! The Winnipeg Puppet Slam is changing venues. We will be a part of the fall schedule at the West End Cultural Centre. November 15th is the date. Mark your calendars!

The Winnipeg Puppet Collective celebrated it's 15th birthday with a puppet slam show in November. A bunch of the regulars were there along with some brand new acts!
