Just discovered a secret terrace at CityPlace downtown off the food court. It’s a bit of an escape, smells gorgeous thanks to the flower beds. The view of the sky and steeple and skyscrapers has me feeling I’m somewhere else.

I've been wanting to go to Hillside Festival for ages. I just never thought my first time would be as part of the music line-up!

I'll be singing the song I wrote as part of the Girls and Guitars songwriting group, at our workshop on Sunday. I'm so grateful to the gals and workshop leaders, so happy to be meeting them in person. ❤️

I've only really sung for cats and kids and so this is brand new for me. So, musician friends - please share your best advice for playing in a festival! ☀️
