This Saturday, September 12, we open 3 PARTS For COLTRANE with legendary saxophonist Pat LaBarbera.

A longtime member of the Buddy Rich Big Band and a longtime collaborator of legendary drummer Elvin Jones, LaBarbera brings a deep, firsthand connection to the Coltrane tradition to the CONTXT stage.

For Part 1, Pat is joined by Mark Hundevad on drums, Ben Dwyer on bass and Chris Pruden on piano.

Experience Teiku, the acclaimed Chicago/Detroit ensemble reimagining rare Eastern European Passover melodies through the spirit of improvised music and jazz. Inspired by ancestral traditions and innovators like Ornette Coleman and Muhal Richard Abrams, Teiku creates an immersive musical journey that is both deeply rooted and boldly contemporary.
